Allison’s reputation as an excellent coach and horse trainer is quickly growing. She is well known for her supportive, positive attitude and ability to work with a wide variety of horses and riders. Every lesson is customized to best suit the needs of the participants. Whether you are a regular client, or riding with her for the first time, you are guaranteed to greatly benefit from Allison’s guidance.

Her use of the training scale to establish correct basics before moving on to more complex movements means that both horse and rider feel comfortable and confident at the end of each lesson or training session. This philosophy is useful no matter what discipline you ride.

Allison has extensive experience working with a wide variety of horses. From starting young show hunters, to schooling up and coming 4* event horses, and showing at all levels of dressage, Allison has been exposed to just about everything out there. Her diverse background means that she is able to help you no matter what horse you ride. She prides herself on her ability to train "non-traditional" dressage horses, working with draft crosses, Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, and Arabians as well as the more typical Warmbloods.

Allison's clients are showing successfully at all levels of Dressage and Eventing as well as Pony Club, Arabian breed shows, and the “A” rated Hunter/Jumper circuit. Two of Allison's clients qualified for the NAJYRC Eventing Championships and competed through the 2* level. Additionally, her dressage students regularly attend, and win, dressage shows in Northern Virginia including the GAIG Region 1 Championships and the Berndt Lundquist Memorial Championship.

Allison also teaches a number of local Pony Clubs helping the riders tune up their dressage skills and qualifying for Pony Club Championships. Allison holds her Traditional-B and Dressage-A ratings enabling her to tailor her lessons to specifically suit a Pony Club's needs.
